President

Jeff Jabin
Bio: I am the proud President and Bargaining Chair of ASKESP. I have 21 years in the school district and I am a devoted advocate for every member working in Salem-Keizer Schools. I have developed many skills in the Union over the past 6 years, serving through multiple bargains starting in 2019, through the pandemic, and through the most successful bargain ASKESP has ever seen. I am proud to serve as Bargaining Chair and lead our team to best advocate for you. I believe in a bottom up, team first approach where all perspectives are taken into account before decisions are made. Going forward, I plan to continue to work hard to make our district as a whole a better place to work for everyone!
I have three kiddos, and a beautiful wifey who supports me in more ways than I can count. I love to play guitar, go to concerts, play video games, graphic design, and hanging with my family. In this Union Family, Family always comes first.

Clerical Director

Madie Brenden
Education has been a part of my life since the beginning. I grew up in Silverton, Oregon most of my life, and graduated from high school at the Oregon Youth Challenge program in Bend. I am a mother of a high school student in the district and I’m a daughter of a teacher in our district as well. Growing up in the education world showed me all the sides of our wonderful field and how we can impact so many individuals! I strive to be a good listener, encourage others, and help however I can! I’ve volunteered in many classrooms in my lifetime and have been working in the school office setting since the 2018-2019 school year and I absolutely love my job! It’s rewarding work helping others in so many ways and building those relationships along the way! I’m excited to continue helping others in my role on the board of directors and help create an even better place for our students to learn and staff to work in!
